What are the common aluminum processing methods in CNC machining centers? Aluminum parts are processed using previously machined electrodes to the desired geometry. It inserts into the blank and forms a cavity or a specific hole. Another common method is the process of wire cutting aluminum parts. It uses a metal wire stretched between two nozzles, which are located above and below the blank. The wire then moves along the desired trajectory and cuts the desired shape into the blank. 1. The hardness and machinability of the material of the part are irrelevant. This is one of the most important points of CNC Aluminum Parts machining, because it can process even the hardest and most complex alloys. The best examples are nickel and titanium alloys used in the aerospace industry. If you want to grind them, they are a big pain, they are more difficult to handle than aluminum parts.

2. Precision and surface quality are sublime. This is true, because the final quality of aluminum processing depends on the quality of the sinking electrode and the wire cutting wire. Both can be made very fine because they are mainly made of soft but conductive materials.

3. There is no thermal transformation in the material. The heat generated during the discharge is very precise, but the area is very small. It is cooled by the dielectric liquid surrounding the component in seconds, so it generates almost no heat during processing. Therefore, there is no thermal deformation or excessive carbon on the surface of the material.

4. No remaining tension. Material evaporates. It is not cut off or stamped to the desired configuration. This means that there is no cutting force at all, which eliminates any form of internal tension that has always existed after traditional aluminum processing. Without these tensions, the parts would not bend after processing, and their accuracy and quality would be much higher.

5. Good automation potential and packaging processing. Programming the wires is easy with a CNC machine. You can even rotate and handle the parts at an angle. If multiple parts are needed, the blanks can be welded together and then cut together with wire.
